Privacy Policy
Effective October 27, 2026
Save to Sell is a sales app made by Plainword Media LLC, a Utah limited liability company ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect, why, who helps us run the app, and how you can see, change or delete your information. The short version: your saves, leads and profile are yours, we use them only to run the app for you, we never sell them, and you can delete everything at any time.
What we collect
- Your account. Your email address and sign in details (one time codes, and a passkey if you turn on Face ID or fingerprint sign in). If you sign in with Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn or Apple, we receive your name and email address from it, and your profile picture from Google or LinkedIn. We also keep your device's time zone and language, and a guess at your company website from a work email address, so you don't have to type them.
- What you add. Screenshots and photos you add and the text in them, files you import (PDFs, spreadsheets, photos of lists), your About Me and Sales Summary answers, a photo or logo you upload, your leads and their details, notes, follow ups, and the drafts and research the app writes for you.
- Websites you point us to. When you give us a company website, we read its public pages to fill in your answers, colors and logo.
- Your business card. If you make a digital business card, what you choose to show on it can be seen by anyone with its link or QR code, and we count how many times it's opened. If you add it to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, the pass is made from your card, and Google keeps a copy of a Google Wallet pass.
- The map. If you use the Map, we save where each lead's address is on the map. To start a route from where you are, the app asks your phone for your location. It's used for that route and isn't saved.
- Voice notes. When you record a voice note, the recording goes to Cloudflare's Workers AI to be turned into words, and the words go to Anthropic's API to write the note and a follow up email. The recording is never stored by us. If you record one with no signal, it waits on your device until it's written up, then it's deleted from your device. Only the words are kept, on your lead.
- WhatsApp chats you add. The chat file is read on your device. The app sends the recent messages to Anthropic's API to write a summary, a next step and a reply, and saves only those on your lead. The file itself is not stored.
- Apps you connect. If you connect HubSpot, Outlook, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM, monday.com or Calendly, the keys that app gives us (kept encrypted), which user you are there, and the people and meetings described under Apps you connect below. With Mark replies on in Outlook, who sent each new message in your inbox and when it arrived, used only to match your leads and not kept.
- On your device. So the app works with no signal, your phone or computer keeps a copy of your Sales Tracker (your leads, their details, notes and follow ups) and any changes you make with no signal, until they sync. The copy stays on your device, is used only by the app, and is deleted when you sign out.
- Your plan and usage. Your plan, how many screenshots, drafts and AI actions you use, what they cost us to run, the credit packs you buy and how their credits are used, your referral code and who referred you.
- Payments. Payments are handled by Stripe, Google Play or the App Store. We receive your subscription status, a customer number and billing dates. We never see or store your full card number.
- Waitlist. If you join the waitlist, your first name, email address and the referral code you arrived with.
- Book owner codes. If you ask for a book owner code, your email address, which book, a scrambled form of your internet address to stop abuse, and when the code is used. The code itself is stored scrambled.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider keeps standard logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and to keep the app running.
How we use it
- To run the app for you: read and file your screenshots, build your Sales Summary and Sales Tracker, track follow ups, and write drafts, research and call notes in your voice.
- To bill your plan, apply discounts and give referral rewards.
- To answer you when you contact us, keep the app secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
We don't sell your information. We don't show ads. We don't use your screenshots, leads or drafts to train AI models.
Emails from us
Your account includes The Monday Brief, a free weekly email about using AI in B2B sales. We add the email you sign in with after you set up your Sales Summary. You can unsubscribe any time with the link at the bottom of any issue, and your account keeps working. We also send sign in codes, and the update requests your company manager sends through the app. We don't send marketing for other companies.
AI processing
To read screenshots and write for you, the app sends the relevant content (for example a screenshot, your answers or a lead's details) to Anthropic's API. Anthropic processes it for us under its commercial terms, which do not allow it to train its models on that data. Company research may use web search through Anthropic to find public news about a company. AI output can be wrong, so please review it before you rely on it.
AI apps you connect
On every plan you can connect Save to Sell to an AI chat app, such as Claude or ChatGPT. Nothing is connected unless you sign in and tap Allow. A connected app can read your account email, your leads, notes, follow ups, Sales Summary, writing rules and the text of your saved screenshots, and it can add and update leads, log follow up steps and save drafts on a lead. It can't delete anything, see your plan or payments, or send messages for you.
When you ask a connected app for something, it sends Save to Sell a request and we send back only what that request needs. What the AI app does with that information is covered by its own terms and privacy policy and your settings there. We never receive your chats, and we keep only standard logs of the requests (which tool was used and when) for security and to fix problems. Disconnect an app any time in Save to Sell under Settings, AI apps, which ends its access right away. Learn more at Save to Sell in Claude and Save to Sell in ChatGPT.
Apps you connect to your Sales Tracker
On every plan you can connect HubSpot, Outlook, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM, monday.com or Calendly under Integrations. Nothing is connected until you start it there and allow it on that app's own page, and we never see your password for that app.
What we read. Only what each feature needs. From HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM and monday.com: which user you are in that app, so your own records come first, and, when you tap Bring in, up to 500 people so you can choose (name, title, company, email, phone, address, website, and the date of their next open task or activity). We save only the people you pick. From Calendly: your scheduled meetings from two weeks back to two months ahead, including canceled ones, to mark a lead Meeting booked when the booker's email matches and to take a canceled meeting off the lead. From Outlook: your name and email address, to show which account is connected, and with Mark replies on, who wrote to you and when, as described below. We never read your Outlook calendar, and we never read what anyone wrote to you.
What we write. When you log a follow up on a lead that came from one of those apps, we add it to that record as a note, a call, an activity, a task or an update. With Send my next follow up as a task on, we also keep one open task in HubSpot, Pipedrive or Zoho CRM for that lead's next follow up, move it when the date changes, and mark it done when you log the step. With Outlook, we save a follow up email in your Drafts folder or add a follow up to your calendar when you tap those buttons. We never send email, and we never delete contacts or deals in another app.
Mark replies. While Mark replies is on, Save to Sell checks your Outlook inbox when you open the app (at most every 15 minutes) and when you tap Check for replies now. It asks Outlook only for who sent each message that arrived since the last check, going back no more than 14 days, and when it arrived. It never reads the subject, what was written or any attachment. It compares those senders with your own leads' email addresses. When one of your leads wrote to you after the last touch you logged, that lead is marked Got a reply with the date, and a short note goes on the lead. Nothing else from your inbox is kept, except when the last check ran, how far it got and a scrambled form of Outlook's reference number for recent messages, so no message is marked twice. Those can't show who sent a message or what it said.
Mark replies starts on when you connect Outlook. If you connected Outlook before Mark replies existed, it stays off until you turn it on. Turn it off any time on the Outlook card under Integrations, which also clears those check records. Disconnecting Outlook stops it and deletes our keys to your account right away.
Keys and disconnecting. The access keys each app gives us are encrypted and stored with your account, and only our server can read them. We keep which lead came from which record, so a follow up goes to the right place. Leads that came from another app are treated like any other lead, including when you use our AI features or an AI app you connect. Disconnect an app any time under Integrations. We delete its keys and the ties between your leads and its records, and ask the app to cancel our access where it offers a way. Your leads stay in Save to Sell, and what's already in the other app stays there, including any open task we made. Deleting your account deletes all of it. What each app does with your information is covered by its own terms and privacy policy.
Who helps us run the app
We share information only with companies that provide the service, and only what each one needs:
- Anthropic for AI reading and writing.
- Supabase for the database, private file storage and sign in.
- Sender to send The Monday Brief, and Resend to send sign in codes, book owner codes and team emails.
- Cloudflare for hosting.
- Stripe for web payments, and Google Play and the App Store for purchases in the mobile apps.
- Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn or Apple if you choose to sign in with one of them.
- HubSpot, Microsoft (Outlook), Pipedrive, Zoho, monday.com and Calendly, only if you connect them.
- Google Wallet if you add your business card to it.
Some features look up public information when you use them: a ZIP or postal code at zippopotam.us, map tiles from OpenFreeMap and OpenStreetMap, the addresses of your leads at the US Census Bureau, Photon by komoot and OpenStreetMap's Nominatim to place them on the map, flag pictures from flagcdn.com, book titles and covers from Open Library, code libraries from cdnjs.cloudflare.com and cdn.jsdelivr.net, and the websites you ask us to read. These requests carry the search itself (for the map, a lead's address), not your account.
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect people or the app from harm, or as part of a sale or transfer of the app to a new owner, who would have to keep this policy's promises.
Information about other people
Your leads and screenshots may include other people's names, titles and contact details. We store them only for you, we never contact those people, and we never share them with anyone else. You're responsible for having the right to keep and use that information. If someone asks us to remove their information, email us and we'll help.
Company accounts
If you join a company's Corporate or Enterprise account, the company's manager can see your name and email, plus the leads and sales activity you release to them, and the company keeps the leads you add while on the team if you leave. Leads from before you joined stay yours, and you join a team only when you tap Join the team. Your screenshots, drafts and About Me stay private to you.
If you join a Team plan, the person who set it up can see your name and email and that you are on the team. They don't see your leads, screenshots or drafts, and your leads stay yours if you leave.
Your shared Sales Summary
When you share or post your Sales Summary card, what's on it becomes visible wherever you post it. Your target accounts, people, competitors and writing rules are never on the card.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is open. Screenshots marked NOT SALES are deleted automatically 30 days after you save them, unless you choose to keep them. When you delete your account, your personal records are deleted right away from the app and from our backups within 30 days (leads you added while on a Corporate or Enterprise team stay with that company, as our Terms say), and you come off The Monday Brief unless you choose to stay on it. If you ask us by email instead, we delete your account and personal records within 7 days. Billing records kept by Stripe, Google Play or the App Store stay with them for tax and accounting, under their own policies. Waitlist entries are kept until the app opens to you or you ask us to remove yours. Book owner code records are kept so each code works only once, and are deleted with the account that used the code or when you ask us. Wrong answers on the code page are deleted after 30 days.
Your choices and rights
- See and change it. Most of your information can be viewed and edited in the app.
- Delete it. In the app, go to Settings, then Delete my account. Or see how to delete your account.
- Get a copy. Email us and we'll send you a copy of your information.
Depending on where you live (for example California or the European Union), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or move your information, and to object to some uses. We honor these requests for everyone, and we never treat you differently for making one.
Security
Information travels encrypted. Each member can reach only their own data, enforced in the database itself. Screenshots sit in private storage that only you can open, and our service keys never appear in the app. No system is perfect, so please use a sign in method only you can access.
Children
Save to Sell is a business app for adults. It isn't meant for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.
Where your information is stored
Your information is stored and processed in the United States.
Changes
If we make a meaningful change to this policy, we'll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. The date at the top shows the latest version.
